Book recommendations for a novice

I am currently reading a philosophy book “Thinking About God” by Gregory E. Ganssle. He touches on several different scientific topics - quantum events, the universe as a closed system, and the expansion of the universe - to name a few. Can someone please recommend a book that covers these topics in a way that a novice can understand? I find these very interesting, but I am one of those for whom science has been a challenge.

Thank you in advance for your advice and recommendations.

Grace and peace,
Mary Beth

@MaryBeth1 To get a high level understanding, Wikipedia and other free online resources are a great place to start. Domain of Science has some fun videos. Searching for “.edu” on google when looking for resources on a topic can sometimes lead you to professors’ pages where they share lots of great resources for getting up to speed on a topic.

Thank you, SeanO!!!
