What would it look like if we were to look at Jesus’s DNA?
You’re not suggesting it would show signs of Midi-chlorian are you?
Oh, yes. That is exactly what I mean.
In all seriousness, I’m mainly referring to the fact that Jesus had a mother, but his Father was a spirit. What would his DNA look like, then?
This is a fascinating question. I do not think that anyone will be able definitively to answer it because we would need a sample to confirm it. We do not have that sample; I cannot think of a way that we will ever be able to obtain one short of a sublimely miraculous archaeological find. I suspect that Jesus’s DNA was just like every other human being’s DNA because properly structured DNA is essential to healthy physiological function. Jesus appears to have gone through the normal formative stages from the point of fertilization. The question is how the fertilization happened. I do not know the answer to that, and I am not willing to speculate. I am certain that it does not involve actual physical intimacy. That would be blasphemous. Whatever it was, it was miraculous.
