I would like to know
What does the son of man and son of God mean? according to Jesus. In the book of John.

Good question, Daniel. In the book of John, in the first chapter, you will see Jesus being referred to as the Son of God in verse 49, then as Son of Man in verse 51.

Basically, Jesus being the Son of God means that He is the Messiah being predicted in the Old Testament. Then Jesus being the Son of Man suggests that He is divine, since it refers back to a mysterious human-divine figure in Daniel 7:13-14:

“I saw in the night visions,
and behold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man,
and he came to the Ancient of Days
and was presented before him.
And to him was given dominion
and glory and a kingdom,
that all peoples, nations, and languages
should serve him;
his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away,
and his kingdom one
that shall not be destroyed.”
